Do The Zoo: Sharks in the Park fundraiser on Saturday, June 21
Join us at the Zoo for our annual adult fundraiser celebrating sharks at Stingray Bay and benefiting Fresno Chaffee Zoo education programs. This exciting evening features food samplings from the Central Valley's finest eateries, gourmet beers and wines, live entertainment, a silent aucion and more! Back by popular demand this year is headliner Papa Doo Run Run in a live outdoor concert. Stingray Bay returns with the addition of Sharks!
It was a hit last year, and you certainly won't want to miss it this year! Stingray Bay: A Touching Experience reopens at your Zoo by popular demand and is now even more exciting with a group of small docile sharks swimming with the rays. The interactive experience will be open during regular Zoo hours from March 15 through September 14, 2008 and provides visitors an opportunity to reach into a 14,500 gallon saltwater pool and touch the rays and sharks. Opportunities for feeding the gentle aquatic animals may also be available. Admission to Stingray Bay is free for members of Fresno Chaffee Zoo and $1 for the general public.

Year of the Frog: Adopt a Frog and Support Amphibian Conservation

Enter our second annual ZOOm Photo Contest
Whether you are a young enthusiast or a seasoned photographer, now is your chance to take your best shot of our Zoo wildlife and win great prizes! Photos taken at Fresno Chaffee Zoo between April 1 and October 31, 2008 are eligible for the contest.
